Staffordshire Readies Itself for Festive Fair Posted On 26 November 2021

Staffordshire’s residents won’t have too long to wait for the arrival of the Christmas Craft, Food and Gift Fair.

The widely-anticipated event will be open on both Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August, at Stafford Showground, between the hours of 10am-5pm.

The fair will be brought to Staffordshire by Living Heritage Traders, who specialise in events, including craft fairs, as well as food and drink festivals. And this is just one of a number of events that the company will be hosting up and down the country this festive season.

Living Heritage Traders are keeping their cards close to their chest, with regards to the particular stalls that visitors are likely to encounter at the fair. But with this fair already making an appearance at other locations in the country, it can be inferred that there will be a range of craft stalls, selling products from independent businesses. There are set to be stalls dedicated to gifts and country clothing, as well as a number of fine food options.

There will also be plenty of activities throughout the day, ensuring that this is an event for the whole family. Youngers can witness the family-friendly entertainment, including a singing Santa, whilst adults can take in the music of the live band. And if you get peckish, then you’ll be glad to hear of the piazza, which will serve a variety of foods from around the world, meaning that there is quite literally, something for everyone!

This event has been dubbed as ‘the only place to be’ this weekend, and judging by the festive spirit shown by Staffordshire’s residents thus far, it is sure to be popular. One event which conveyed this was the Christmas light switch-on in Stone. It was revealed that the town council were planning on conducting the switch-on virtually, due to COVID concerns, but after a number of complaints from its residents, who wanted to fully immerse themselves in the festivities, the council were forced into a u-turn!
